A woman and children sit within their tent in Cite Charite # 1, a tented community near Port Au Prince served by Premiere Urgence, the french NGO. The areas which is in the hills, is particularly susceptible to flooding. Their tent is covered by a material called ZeroFly, which has insecticide woven into it in an effort to ward off mosquitoes and other insects which can transmit diseases. The material is manufactured by Vestergaard Frandsen, a private company which also makes bed nets and water purification devices.
